How could Energy Usage in Ōtaki homes be more efficient. - Group: Violet, Rakei and James. - (Week 9 Reflection/Week 5 Reflection - Last Week of the project.)

 1. What have you achieved/learned/found out since your last post?:

We have finished everything.

2. How effectively have you used your time this week?:

Not much cause we have finished off everything so there was a huge amount of time that was left.

3. How have you contributed to your group’s progress?:

I helped James do the last little bits of finishing and then we finished and presented our presentation/project on Wednesday 6th of December yesterday.

4. Glows: something that is going well in your project:

Finishing the project and presenting it.

5. Grows: Something you need to work on:

Doing the final blog reflection.

6. Where could you get help with this?:

James and by myself.

7. What are the next steps for your project?:

Nothing, just making a reflection at the end of it today and tomorrow.

How could Energy Usage in Ōtaki homes be more efficient. - Group: Violet, Rakei and James. - (Week 8 Reflection/Week 4 Reflection.) (Late posted.)

 1. What have you achieved/learned/found out since your last post?:

We finished our presentation and printed out the slides, we glued them onto the A4 piece of paper, and we managed to glue the A4 presentation piece of paper onto the huge cardboard stand. Right now I'm gluing some symbols and decorations around the paper and all over the cardboard. James has started writing down the do's and don'ts for our project.

2. How effectively have you used your time this week?:

Very big amount, same with James, but unfortunately Rakei hasn't been at school.

3. How have you contributed to your group’s progress?:

I asked Mr. O'Leary for some normal pieces of paper to sketch the symbols on and I sketched and coloured in flame symbols, leaf symbols, light bulb symbols, and electric bolt symbols for the design. I also gave James ideas on the do's and don'ts for our project.

4. Glows: something that is going well in your project:

Designing and more interesting add-ons.

5. Grows: Something you need to work on:

Adding some of the do's and don'ts list onto our cardboard stand, as well as design around the paper.

6. Where could you get help with this?:

If I needed help I would ask for help from Mr. O'Leary or James.

7. What are the next steps for your project?: In week 9 we should've been on the edge of finishing and all done, but our next steps are to finish designing and adding extra information and useful ones for the sides of the cardboard stand.

Elie Wiesel, Author of Night, Page 3 - 5 Empathy Map.

Me and James are working on this Empathy Map in our English class, as a task we have to do. It is about a young boy survivor that survived the Holocaust, his name is Elie Wielsel.

It's a real Autobiography about Elie's Life and being born in a Jewish ghetto in Hungary.
